Housestaff Research Mentorship Program (HRMP):

Research is an integral part of medicine.  In order to expose our housestaff to research opportunities, a mentorship program has been developed and being led by faculty members.  Core Faculty within our department and subspecialty departments will pair with housestaff on various projects throughout the year.  The focus is to produce publishable manuscripts in accordance with residents' research/fellowship interests.

Other Opportunities:

  • Housestaff Research Day - Yearly event for housestaff to present abstracts, case reports, oral presentations, etc. to the Department of Medicine and its Subspecialities.
  • Collaborative Research Unit (CRU) - "Dedicated to improving the health of the people of Cook County through collaboration, innovation, rigorous scientific inquiry, and continuous learning."  Visit the CRU Webpage for More Information
